Sarah Snyder
General Editor
Webmaster, Computer Whisperer
Sarah Snyder finished high school far too early at age 14, after which she attended The King’s College in New York City. When the family moved to Switzerland, she enrolled in the London School of Journalism, a post-grad journalism school. She earned her Journalism and Newswriting Diploma with Distinction and received her Honours Diploma in Subediting and Design and has been a grammar geek ever since. She formed a band with her sister Stephanie, Deer Park Avenue, and stays busy with gigging, recording, and talking to strangers on the band’s Twitter account. She has played guitar since she was 10 and enjoys effects pedals probably more than is advisable. In addition, she and Stephanie have started their own Website Design and Social Media Management business.

Deer Park Avenue
Rock Band in Residence
Deer Park Avenue is the brainchild of Sarah and Stephanie Snyder, who have been secretly writing songs for many years and only recently decided to share them with the world at large. Their first EP, City Streets, was released last fall, and they’re currently gigging and getting ready to release their second EP, Stop & Go, on October 5.
Sarah and Stephanie have been involved with forming and leading Worship Teams since they were 12 and 9, on Long Island, in Switzerland, and in California. They love the rawness and fun of youth ministry and have trained youth in guitar, drums, bass guitar, percussion, piano, and voice, incorporating them into Sunday morning worship and showing them how to be a band.
For more information about Deer Park Avenue, visit their 321 Page or Official Website.

Joshua Eric Murray
Writer/Filmmaker
Joshua Eric Murray is a writer, filmmaker, and graphic design artist living on Long Island, New York. He grew up in the church his whole life, then went to a Christian college where he would eventually get suspended for not attending chapel. He started investigating and questioning the religious behavior of the people he knew and the church culture he grew up with. He encourages friends and strangers to think deeply about what they really believe, rather than just accepting “they way things should be.”
He currently lives on east Long Island, works at an architectural design firm, travels when and wherever he can, is a lover of all things film, and has a mild case of claustrophobia when riding trains. You can follow him on on Tumblr at poorly-knit.tumblr.com.
